WA producers making their mark in film and TV
Just what does it take to make it in the world of film and television production? Come along and meet three extraordinary West Australian women who have made their mark both nationally and internationally, in a fascinating discussion to be chaired by WA journalist Victoria Laurie.
Sue Taylor, an independent producer for more than 25 years. Her film The Tree was selected to close Cannes Film Festival 2010. Her credits also include 3 Acts of Murder and The Shark Net.
Celia Tait, whose long list of production credits includes the Australian series of SBS’s Who Do You Think You Are? and the recently screened Desperately Seeking Doctors.
Rikki Lea Bestall. A proud WAAPA graduate, Rikki followed her dream to a successful Hollywood career (When in Rome, The Soloist) before taking up her latest role at ScreenWest.
